La peinture de Yongcheng est comme une caresse. Chacune de ses œuvres nous raconte une histoire, celle de la solitude, de l’attente, de l’isolement dans un monde pourtant accueillant et apaisant. Ce sont des œuvres qui, du petit au grand format, sont des portes dans lesquelles nos yeux, nos pensées, peuvent s’engouffrer paisiblement. Cette mélancolie des situations, des couleurs, des ambiances est toujours abreuvée d’un travail de maître du cadrage et de la lumière. L’artiste se fait alors poète ou cinéaste et il nous raconte l’histoire d’un monde qui perd certains de ses repères, dont ceux de la famille et de l’importance des contacts humains réels. Yongcheng's painting is like a caress. Each of his works tells us a story, that of loneliness, expectation, isolation in a world that is nevertheless welcoming and soothing. These are works that, from small to large, are doors through which our eyes, our thoughts, can enter peacefully. This melancholy of situations, colors, atmospheres is always imbued with masterful work of framing and light. The artist then becomes a poet or a filmmaker and tells us the story of a world that is losing some of its landmarks, including those of family and the importance of real human contact. Yongcheng is a romantic and his painting is eternal without triggering our sobs
